The Barley Mow is a beautiful, traditional country pub and is ideally equipped to both attract passing trade and provide easy access to its extensive car park. It has an attractive brick painted exterior with a mix of thatch and tiled roof.
The main entrance through the lobby leads to the main bar which provides a cosy feel with a huge inglenook fireplace and a mixture of comfortable bar furniture. There is a second entrance to the restaurant which can also be accessed from the bar, leading to the main dining areas. Although the dining areas are large, the traditional beams, nooks and crannies provide an intimate dining experience.
The trade areas are served by two sets of toilets, one with accessible and baby changing facilities. The adjoining bars and the extensive and well-equipped kitchen, office and cellar are all conveniently situated.
There are endless opportunities to exploit the garden areas. To the rear of the pub there is a large decked area with multiple covers which leads down to a spacious patio with benches, and onto an attractive grassed area and woodland. To the side of the pub there is a built-in BBQ, ideal for outdoor events in the summer months. There are extensive adjacent fields, also perfect for events and camping; and all waiting for an entrepreneur to fulfill the potential of this great outdoor space.
