The competition is running from Monday 21st May until Sunday 24th June exclusively in Hall & Woodhouse Managed Houses, and Business Partnerships who have opted to participate.  To support activation, participating houses have been given a kit with a variety of marketing materials to bring the competition to life.

Each guest who purchases a pint, half pint, or bottle of Tangle Foot during the promotional period will be given a chance to win a ‘money can’t buy’ Brewery experience prize; the beer-lovers’ version of winning the lottery.


The ultimate experience for the winner (and a friend) to brew their own beer at Hall & Woodhouse Brewery in Blandford, Dorset.

The experience will consist of:

  • Working with a brewer to develop a recipe in advance of their visit
  • Dinner, bed and breakfast at the Crown Hotel, Blandford (the night before).
  • A limited-edition Tangle Foot gift
  • A day’s brewing in the Pilot Brewery onsite at Hall & Woodhouse (Lunch provided)

Once the beer is brewed, one cask will be available on the bar in the house of the winner’s choice. In addition, the winner will be invited to bring guests to sample their creation. The winner will receive:

  • Four complimentary pints of the new brew to share amongst friends
  • £50 Hall & Woodhouse vouchers to be spent at any Hall & Woodhouse Managed House and at the Brewery Tap
  • 1 x 5ltr mini-keg of the brewed beer to take home


10 x runners up (plus 3 friends per winner) will be invited to tour the  Hall & Woodhouse Brewery in Blandford, Dorset.

The day will consist of :

  • A brewery tour on a day of the winner’s choice (excluding Sundays)
  • A limited-edition Tangle Foot Gift
  • Lunch in the Brewery Tap and a free pint of Tangle Foot for the prize winner and three friends
