As part of the Business Partner Agreement you are required to purchase all of your draught and packaged beers, ciders, wines, spirits, FABs and minerals from Hall & Woodhouse. A full list of the products available to you and their current prices will be provided in the Business Partnership Agreement Price List. No specific discounts are available from the Business Partnership Price List.
The Drinks Tie does not include tea, coffee or food. In general there are no exceptions to the tie agreement, although consideration will be given to requests where a potential Business Partner would like to stock specific items that Hall & Woodhouse cannot provide and will significantly enhance the offer set out within the Business Plan.
Badger beer remains the golden thread that runs throughout our business, hence why you’ll only find our award-winning Badger beer in our own pubs. Your Business Development Partner will discuss your range and work with you to ensure you have the right beer for your guests in your pub. As well as our hero beers, we also produce seasonal cask beers throughout the year with appropriate pos materials to help you market them. A full list of available Badger Cask and Bottle beers can be found on the Business Partner Support Website.
To ensure that you and your team are always able to look after your ales in the best way possible, our Beer Quality Ambassadors will visit you three times a year. They will help you ensure that your drinks are always served in excellent condition. We will gift you a free firkin of Badger Best if you score 100% in each of your three visits per year.
Our friendly and dedicated Telesales team are responsible for taking weekly Business Partner orders. The team have vast experience in the hospitality industry and are happy to make recommendations on products to suit your pub and guest type.
They will often communicate monthly product promotions to you and inform you of any available merchandise and point-of-sale to ensure you make the most of your product range.
The food side of running a Business Partnership is entirely down to the Business Partner concerned, although we can support you with a recommended summary of food offers as well as discounts from our food suppliers Brakes.
We have partnered with Brakes to provide our Business Partners with a bespoke menu development solution which offers 30/40 high quality traditional pub favorites which have been fully spec’d and costed, with all the accompanying allergens information, to allow Business Partners to put together an interesting and robust food menu. In addition, there is a choice of menu designs included in the package, so designing and printing your menu is also easy. Whilst the solution is not relevant to all food pubs, it helps to establish a hassle free and consistent food offer, before branching out into something a little more challenging once a steady food trade is established.
