Supporting the wider community is important to Hall & Woodhouse and ties in with our core values – it is about doing the right thing, and treating others as they wish to be treated. We have recently shared some charity fundraising top tips and advice with our Business Partners though our Business Partnerships Support Website. This includes advice on selecting a charity, quick wins, national campaigns and planning and running events. Here are just a few of the highlights:

World’s Biggest Pub Quiz

PubAid have developed the World Biggest Pub Quiz campaign dedicated to the pub industry. The campaign, which started in 2016, encourages bars and pubs across the UK to take part by holding a quiz for their guests on the specified date.  The aim is to help raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, or a charity of the pub’s choice.

This year the World Biggest Pub Quiz is will be held from 3rd– 7th March 2019 all registered pubs will receive quiz packs and promotional material from PubAid. Pub and bar owners can register here – registrations received after the postal cut-off date (27th February) will receive a digital quiz pack which will need to be printed by the pub for their quiz night.

Badger Beer and Cheese Matching Evening

We offer to support our Business Partners to hold a charity Badger Beer and Cheese Matching Evening  in their pub, hosted by Mark Woodhouse. The event sees Mark entertain and educate guests on the history of brewing and flavour of the Badger Beer range. Mark also showcases the range using different flavours of cheeses to teach guests that beer is the perfect accompaniment to all kinds of foods and tastes.

We also provide Business Partners with a promotional tool kit to advertise their event, including printed posters, digital assets and event tickets.
