We’re delighted to announce that we won the Best Tenanted & Leased Pub Company (up to 500 sites) Award at the Publican Awards 2022. Hosted at the Evolution in London on Wednesday night, our Business Partnerships team attended and flew the flag for Hall & Woodhouse. After last years awards being held virtually, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening to attend in-person as the industry, and world, looks to return to some form of normality.
Operated by The Morning Advertiser, The Publican Awards recognise excellence across the sector. After a couple of challenging years for everyone involved in the hospitality industry, we’re incredibly proud of the achievement. Head of Business Partnerships, Duncan Rouse said “We’re hugely thankful to receive such a prestigious award, and my gratitude goes out to all of the team at Hall & Woodhouse along with all 111 of our Business Partnerships. We’re constantly looking at how we can improve things for our Business Partners, ensuring they get the highest levels of support and we’re hugely keen to welcome new entrepreneurs into the industry. My congratulations also goes out to all of the other award winners.”
The judging process for the Publican Awards is one of the most rigorous and reputable within the pub industry. Following on from an initial entry and shortlisting, we hosted the Head Judge at some of our Business Partnership pubs – this was our opportunity to really bring to life and showcase all of the team’s work. The judge’s then completed a number of mystery shopper visits, this assessment looked at everything from speed of service through to hygiene and ensured our customer service and overall quality was consistent.
