St Peter's Finger is a large-scale, food-led pub that serves as a vibrant village hub while also attracting visitors from surrounding areas and holidaymakers. Moreover, the pub boasts a beautifully finished interior and exterior, featuring top-quality fixtures and fittings, much of which were replaced in 2024.
Previously, Hall & Woodhouse managed the pub for several years and built a strong reputation for high standards. Now, the site offers an entrepreneurial operator the chance to flex the operating model and fully realize the potential of its plentiful local and tourist trade.
In terms of location, the pub occupies a prime spot in the village of Lytchett Minster, close to Poole. Guests enter through a large paved courtyard that leads directly to the heart of the trading area. To the right, the main bar provides 24 dining covers in a light and airy setting. Furthermore, the bar area combines high tables with a relaxed lounge featuring a wood-burning stove. Meanwhile, the main dining area offers 96 covers with a functional mix of benches, fixed seating, and tables, all creating a vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, traditional touches—including a second wood-burning stove and a mix of wooden and stone flooring—add character to the surroundings.
Adjacent to the bar, high-quality guest toilets ensure convenience, while a well-fitted, high-capacity kitchen guarantees smooth peak service. Outside, three separate drinking and eating spaces further enhance the experience, bringing total covers to nearly 300.
