Induction Training

Our BP Induction Event is valuable in welcoming you to the Hall & Woodhouse family and in ensuring you have the necessary knowledge and information to successfully continue with your Business Partner Agreement. The BP Induction includes:

  • Attendance at the Brewery to include a welcome and presentation, a ‘meet the team’ session and a Brewery Tour (half day event)
  • Dinner with our Head of Business Partnerships and our Chairman at the Crown Hotel in Blandford, Dorset
  • Completion of the BIIAB Level 2 Award in Beer and Cellar Quality provided by our Quality Standards Team (one day)
  • Completion of CIEH Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering (one day)
  • Completion of the Award for Licensed Hospitality Operations (three day) *optional

Please note, if you successfully complete the Induction training within the first three months of taking on your pub, you’ll receive two complimentary 9 gallon casks of Badger Best, worth in excess of £140.

Ongoing Training

Ongoing training is available for you and your essential team via our internal trainers and training partners. This training can be refreshed at any point and is covered throughout your entire agreement as part of your initial training fee. Ongoing training courses include:

  • CIEH Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering Course
  • Award for Personal Licence Holders
  • Appointed Person First Aid course (half day)

Online Training

We’ll also provide you with access to our pay-as-you go online training portal, provided by FLOW. This will enable you to train your team in the comfort of your own business by purchasing discounted training credits. In the first instance, Hall & Woodhouse will provide you with a bank of credits free of charge.
