How much do pub managers earn?

If you’re interested in running your own pub for the first time, it’s only natural you’d also be curious about how much pub managers earn.

The truth is it can vary greatly, however according to Talent.com the average salary of a pub manager is just over £35k per year. They say “the average general pub manager salary in the United Kingdom is £35,824 per year or £18.37 per hour. Entry level positions start at £31,500 per year while most experienced workers make up to £45,522 per year.”

Of course, it can also depend on what type of pub you decide to run. If you work for someone else who owns a pub, your employment, pay and benefits will be completely different than if you decide to run your own pub.

If running your own pub is something you’ve been considering, or if you’re looking for a new tenancy opportunity, why not explore working with Hall & Woodhouse as one of our Business Partners.
